Atmospheric teaser for the synth-pop-punk collab crushglad x teeNsad (2023). Featuring glitch effects, hand-drawn text.
Working on the joint release by two representatives of the Ukrainian youth scene, crushglad and teeNsad, required creating a cohesive audiovisual universe. For the synth-pop-punk track "yak ty shche zhyva?", I designed both the teaser and the cover art, uniting them with a shared visual motif—an eerie "night vision" aesthetic with glitches and custom typography.
Video Production
The challenge in this project was to create a dynamic promo for an energetic synth-pop-punk collaboration that would visually complement the mood of the music without being overly distracting. I decided to build the visual style around a "night vision" simulation effect, giving the video a sense of surveillance and mild anxiety. During the editing process, I carefully integrated glitches and hand-drawn text. A crucial stage was working with SFX and visual effects: I emphasized the track's musical accents but maintained a strict balance so the imagery looked composed and didn't disrupt the perception of the music itself. The result was a stylish, atmospheric teaser that set the right tone for the entire promo campaign of the release.

Cover Design
Since the cover art had to perfectly resonate with the video teaser and act as part of a single concept, I continued to develop the "night vision" idea. The main task was to create an image that immediately conveyed the tense, slightly toxic vibe of the song. I stylized the photograph in acid-green tones and added intentionally heavy digital noise to amplify the feeling of anxiety and raw punk energy. The final touch was the song title, which I wrote by hand—this crafted element contrasted perfectly with the technological effect of a night camera. As a result, we achieved a highly cohesive visual product where the video and the cover work together as a single mechanism.
