Тазашо x Skameyka Moloko - Бідна я
Massive VFX teaser for the EDM release "bidana ya" by TAZASHO x Skameyka Moloko (2025). QTV channel aesthetics, 3D tracking, internet memes, and nostalgic motion design.
This joint EDM release by two members of our collective, "School Melancholy," became one of the most technically demanding projects in my career. The goal was to visualize the track's frantic drive through the lens of nostalgia for the cult Ukrainian TV channel QTV. The project required the integration of heavy 3D graphics, frame-by-frame animation, and the creation of rich lore that combined inside jokes, early 2000s internet culture, and our collective's philosophy.
Video Production
To visualize this song, I chose the aesthetic of commercial breaks from the old QTV channel—with their signature chaos, localized humor, and interactive on-screen SMS chats. The teaser was a true test of my VFX skills: I tracked 3D explosions right behind the characters and manually animated dozens of graphical elements. The video was oversaturated with references: from 2016 green screens, GTA wanted stars, and Minecraft fireworks to Windows 98 error windows warning of universal collapse due to the sheer chaos. A unique component was the copywriting—all four members of the collective wrote jokes for the video. The emotional climax of the teaser was a quote from the movie "Dead Poets Society" about the meaning of life, which unofficially became our collective's main manifesto. Ultimately, this teaser perfectly captured the music's energy and became the cultural code for our team.

Cover Design
The cover art was created as a direct visual continuation of the teaser to maintain the integrity of the promo campaign. I used a vibrant palette of pink, light blue, and white. The main compositional challenge was finding the balance between minimalism and controlled chaos—harmoniously combining photography, paint splatters, and graphic elements from the video. It was in this artwork that I first introduced the sky visual motif. For me, it became a metaphor for TAZASHO's music: listening to these EDM tracks evokes a feeling of absolute freedom and flying in the clouds.
Socials & Promo
The marketing for this release set a personal record for the sheer volume of work. To cut through the informational noise, I edited 29 unique promo videos (14 for Skameyka Moloko and 15 for TAZASHO). My main goal was to create content that would instantly catch the eye with vibrant colors and dynamics, strongly standing out among typical music snippets in the feed. During this campaign, I experimented with new visual hooks and TikTok formats. These formats proved to be so successful and viral that we continue to use them as the foundation of our promotional strategy to this day.
