Crushglad - Нам стане тепліше?
Experimental grunge cover art for Crushglad's new track "nam stane teplishe" (2026). Featuring lo-fi aesthetics, distorted text, and heavy digital noise.
Working on the release "nam stane teplishe" by alternative pop artist Crushglad became a reflection of his internal and musical transformations. The song was recorded in a completely new, experimental sound for the artist and explores the deep theme of the conflict between his "old" self and the fear of accepting his "new" self. My main task was to visually convey this transitional phase and the updated lo-fi vibe of the music.
Cover Design
To emphasize the experimental lo-fi sound and the internal unrest of the lyrics, I opted for an aggressive grunge aesthetic. The cover is heavily saturated with digital noise, symbolizing the chaos of the protagonist's thoughts and his fear of change. The typography (the track title) was intentionally heavily distorted, highlighting the "breaking" of the artist's old image. Paint splatters added extra visual texture. All these elements combined created the perfect visual accompaniment for Crushglad's new, raw, and unconventional sound.
